Positive Posters

Challenge:

After the success of the M5 site, Coca-Cola asked Armchair to contribute poster designs for Coke Side of Life.

The campaign voice was positive and sincere, so the posters had to reflect these values as well as be contemporary and pertinent to the young target Armchair had recently helped Coke acquire.

Solution:

To tackle the challenge, Armchair assembled and directed a team of world-renowned graphic designers including Siggi Eggertsson, Josh Boston and Armchair’s own Stefán Kjartansson.

The team created posters that captured everything the brand stood for with it’s new audience and adhered to the clean design Armchair is known for.

Results:

The outcome was three different interpretations of the concept. Each exceptionally executed and unique to the designer, the posters were a mashup of 60s style lettering, Memphis post-modern colors and hypnotic op-art.
