Challenge:
Cingular couldn’t figure out why their 20-something employees weren’t taking advantage of the valuable benefits offered by the company. Armchair was asked to find a better way to communicate with this audience.
Solution:
Unlike the typical benefits brochure, the Straight Talk intranet site spoke to this younger target in a compelling and relatable way.
Using custom photography and 3-D characters, Armchair helped Cingular employees understand their benefits and how to use them.
With playful executions of real world scenarios, the site walked visitors through financial, health and careers benefits—each in a unique and engaging way that encouraged sharing with peers.
Results:
By replacing lengthy text explanations with an interactive destination, users spent more time engaged with the site. As a result, this sub-site of Cingular’s intranet got more traffic than the rest of the entire intranet and benefit enrollment had a higher click through rate.
