Dimensions of Architecture

Challenge:

Georgia Tech College of Architecture needed a bold statement. For their Centennial celebration, a powerful visual system was needed to represent their history and future.

Solution:

After researching the landscape and precedents of design education identity, Armchair developed a powerful 10×10 grid system to tell the story of the people, art, technology, design and the impact this great school has had on the world.

Based on the grid system, we designed a logo, a geometric abstraction that shows progression from the school’s humble beginnings.

For the lecture series poster we used color randomization, modern typography and data generated circles to draw attention to the celebrations.
