Newsweek Cleans Up

The struggling magazine has opted for a cleaner more minimalist approach compared to many other news sites. A large image at the top gives users a singular focus and the blog-like top story scroll down the page is easier on the eyes.

What do ya’ll say? Yay or nay?

I like. I’m sure they’ll tweak and refine, but the news sites can get so crazy with content. I bet they have an 80/20 with 80% of the content only being clicked 20% of the time, if that.

Yay. Who can really absorb all the content on most news sites. This provides clear, relevant info at a quick glance.
