Armchair is looking for a full time Project Manager that can create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements and identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities and can manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and can review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client and can effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards and can prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures and can minimize our exposure and risk on project and can ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately and can track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis and manage project budget and determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for projects and follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices and analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization and understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and make decisions accordingly and understand our pricing model and billing procedures and accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization and assure project legal documents are completed and signed and identify business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project and lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments and effectively convey our message in both written and verbal business development discussions and facilitate team and client meetings effectively and hold regular status meetings with project team and keep the project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news and effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations and resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion and understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and possess a general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design and understand internet, intranet, extranet and client/server architectures and possess a thorough understanding of our capabilities and maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements and challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor and manage the development of the team by ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each Innovator’s career interests and inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence and identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change and manage the process of innovative change effectively and remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices and consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member’s contributions and effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential and motivate the team to work together in the most efficient manner and keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members and mitigate team conflict and communication problems and manage day-to-day client interaction and set and manage client expectations and develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties and communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships and build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives and have a bachelor’s degree plus one to three years project management experience, two to four years web experience with basic knowledge of project lifecycle. Agency experience is not required, but is a plus and you’re gonna report to Director of Client Services and your compensation is to be negotiated.
